Dr Philip Bliss trained in London at the Royal London Dental Hospital where he was awarded the London Prize in prosthetics. Since then he has trained in many  areas of advanced dentistry including orthodontics, laser dentistry, implants and aesthetics.

Dr Bliss is a member of the Australian Dental Association, The American Dental Association and a founder member of the Profession Development Program that requires annual educational attendance.

He is also a member of the American Association of Functional Orthopaedics, the Australian Implant Association, the Academy of Laser Dentistry and the College of Clinical Laser Dentistry

He has been in practice in Melbourne since 1971
